Charles Kares, PGA Professional and two-time NSW/ACT PGA Teaching Professional of the Year in 2013 & 2020. His coaching success speaks volumes, from transforming high handicappers to winning championship titles and coaching aspiring Professionals through to Professional Tour Winners.
Charles embodies quiet determination, his smile hinting at a deep confidence. He’s not one for idle chatter; instead, he listens intently, understanding each student’s unique personality and motivations. Trust is paramount in his coaching philosophy, extending beyond lessons to being available whenever his students need guidance.
Charles stumbled into golf at 14, filling in for his father at a ProAm tournament. His passion ignited, he honed his skills tirelessly, inspired by the likes of Seve Ballesteros and Phil Mickelson. Despite a promising start on professional tours, Charles realized his true calling lay in coaching. Armed with cutting-edge technology and a keen eye, he began reshaping the coaching landscape in Australia.
Charles’s approach isn’t just technical; it’s deeply personal. He identifies the crucial improvement areas swiftly, guiding his students with humor and encouragement.
